07/11/2025
The definition of “obfuscated” refers to making code or data difficult for humans and machines to understand while preserving its functionality. In software, it’s used to protect intellectual property, prevent tampering, and deter reverse engineering, according to Wikipedia. For data, obfuscation disguises sensitive information, like customer or payment data, to protect it from unauthorised access.
