03/11/2025
A QR code, or Quick Response code, is a type of two-dimensional barcode that stores information in a grid of black and white squares. It can hold a large amount of data and be scanned instantly by a smartphone camera to trigger an action, such as opening a website, displaying text, or connecting to a Wi-Fi network. Created by the Japanese company Denso Wave in 1994, QR codes were initially used to track automotive parts during the manufacturing process.
