SMS

Short Message Service is the name that we use for a mobile phone text message. Distinct from a push message that is delivered by the app (and often turned off by members), an SMS message is sent across the telecommunications network. It is a 2-way mechanism to which members and other recipients can reply.

The GymOS SMS service does not support media (I.e. pictures).

Our backend SMS provider is Twilio. SMS messages are charged at the Twilio rate plus an additional 1p per message.
