XRcize session types

GymOS supports three different types of XRcize sessions. Each is designed for a different purpose and works in a different way.

In-Person Trackable

The In-Person Trackable session is designed for use in an in-person training session, such as small-group personal training.

The trackable session type enables members to record their achievements in the GymOS FitnessHub mobile app. When programmed correctly with x%yRM constructs, the program can also recommend the weights the member should use based on previous achievements.

Online Structured

The Online Structured session type is designed for delivering an online training program to a member. This is entirely in-app (or portal) based and provides an exercise framework for the member to follow.

The structured session type is good for when a member goes away on work or holiday, and you want to allocate them a training plan for when they are away.

In-Person Freeform

The In-Person Freeform session structure is very rudimentary and provides a simple narrative area where you can provide details of the workout. As its name suggests, it is freeform in structure. This makes it flexible, but of no real use for tracking or monitoring.

Which session type?

If you are operating a small group personal training gym, and want your members to be able to record their progress at your sessions, it is the In-person Trackable session type that you want to create.

To make the program visible in the gym session, ensure you assign the XRcize session to a scheduled in-person session. This tells GymOS which workout plan to show during which session.
