Lead tab: Reach-outs & Nurturing
The Reach-outs & Nurturing tab on the lead record provides information and functions relating to nurture programs assigned to a lead, reach-out communications that have been sent from a campaign the lead is associated with, and details of triggers that have been actioned/fired.
The tab comprises three sections:
Nurture Programs
Nurture programs offer an effective method for delivering content to a lead (or member) on a scheduled basis. Please review the documentation for nurture programs.
GymOS will list the nurture programs assigned to the lead. The information provided will include the start date, the person to whom they were assigned, and the last action that occurred within the nurture program.
Clicking the icon alongside a nurture program will cancel that program, and no further steps will be taken from it. Clicking will both cancel and delete the nurture program from the lead’s record.
Assigning a nurture program to a lead ad hoc
There are multiple ways within the GymOS system to assign a nurture program to a lead, including via a trigger.
To manually assign a nurture program to a lead on an ad hoc basis, follow these steps:
- Click the Add Nurture Program button. This will add a new row at the top of the Nurture Program listing.
- Select the desired nurture program from the Program name drop-down list.
- You may choose to change the assignment start date. By default, this will be the current day, and the nurture program will commence immediately.
- Click the icon to save the nurture program, or to cancel.
Important notes:
- The program is assigned and scheduled against the lead at the point it is assigned.
- If you remove items from the nurture program they will be removed from the remainder of the lead nurture sequence.
- If you edit release times in the nurture program these will not be updated in the lead nurture sequence.
- If you edit assignment content (excluding release times) these will be updated for the remainder of the lead nurture sequence.
Reach-outs
The Reach-outs section of the tab lists the reach-out notifications sent to the lead. These are the notifications assigned to the campaign that are sent automatically by GymOS. The listing excludes communications sent by other methods, such as nurture programs, triggers, etc.
The listing is purely for information purposes and there are not actionable steps associated with the reach-out listing.
Triggers Actioned
The Triggers Actioned section of the tab lists those event triggers that have “fired” against the lead record in recent times. The list of fired triggers is shown in reverse chronological order (most recent first).
This listing is likely something that you won’t look at regularly. Still, it is a valuable reference for determining why something has happened on a lead record – and if it was the result of an event trigger that you have configured.
