Campaign and landing page tools
Permission scope: EVERYONE
The campaign and landing page builder is designed to create a new campaign and landing page of the agreed type, or to add a landing page to an existing campaign.
The page is assembled from the guidance you provide, using GymOS’ catalogue of several hundred designed blocks. It remains fully editable in the GymOS landing page builder, and placeholder images are used which you should then replace with your own.
Example questions and prompts
- Build me a landing page for our January challenge.
- Set up a campaign to promote our new memberships.
- I want a page for a free taster session.
- Can you make me a refer-a-friend page?
- Put together a sign-up page for the open day.
- Create a dark landing page – something a bit moodier.
- What appointment types can people book with us?
- Is that page ready yet?
How the conversation goes
- Alphie asks what you are promoting, who it is for, what it costs and what visitors should do.
- He shows you an outline – the sections, in order – and waits.
- Say what you want changed and it shows you a new one rather than building and apologising.
- Press the button and Alphie builds in the background; you carry on with something else.
Worth knowing
- You get an alert in GymOS when it is done, with a link straight to the page. A page takes a few minutes and most people have moved on by then, so it comes and finds you. You can also just ask Alphie how it is getting on – at any point, including in a conversation the next morning.
- The campaign type is the one decision that can never be undone, so Alphie never infers it. It describes the options in plain words – promoting memberships, collecting enquiries, booking a consultation, creating member accounts – and asks which you mean. Everything else about a page can be edited afterwards; this cannot.
- Adding a page will not move a campaign’s public address if it already has one. A campaign with no default page has no public address at all, so a first page becomes it; a campaign that already has a default keeps it. Alphie tells you what a campaign already has before it builds anything, which is the moment that matters.
- Refer-a-friend is a genuinely different form, not the sign-up form with different wording. It collects the referrer’s details and their friend’s – name, email and mobile. Ask for a referral page and that is what you get.
- Appointments come in two flavours and they are not the same thing. A DropSlot appointment type is a self-service calendar – a consultation, a discovery call, a gym tour. A marketing session is a real class on the gym timetable that leads may book. Alphie describes both and asks rather than choosing, because the right one depends entirely on how the gym works.
- Ask for a dark page and you get one. Light text on a near-black background, applied section by section – sections built around a photograph keep the photograph and are left alone. Alphie will not decide this for you: a bold or dramatic page is not necessarily a dark one, so it only goes dark if you say so.
