Adding/creating a new employee
Within GymOS, all employees originate from a member. Thus, to create an employee, you first create a member record.
An employee must have both a valid email address and a valid mobile number. You cannot create an employee from a member unless these two data points are present and valid.
To elevate the member access to that of an employee, slect the Promote this member to employee from the Actions drop-down menu at the top of the member record.
There are two levels of employee: “Employee” and “Manager”. The employee level is suitable for the majority of the coaching team. Managers are those who require complete access, and are permitted to see consolidated financial data.
Once a member has been elevated to “employee” level, you will be taken to their employee record. From here, you can administer a wide range of employee-related aspects. You can also elevate the employee further to “manager” level.
