FitnessHub: Scheduled Absences
The Scheduled Absences section allows members to notify the gym if they will be away from training for a period of time.
Accessing Scheduled Absences
Members can access this section by:
- Hovering over My Account in the navigation menu.
- Selecting Scheduled Absences from the dropdown menu.
This will take the member to the Scheduled Absences screen.
Viewing Scheduled Absences
On this page, members will see any absences they have already recorded.
For each absence, the following information will be displayed:
- Start date and end date
- Reason for the absence (Holiday, Business, or Other)
- Notes, showing any additional information provided
This allows members to keep track of any time they have informed the gym they will be away.
Adding a Scheduled Absence
To record a new absence:
- Click the Add an Absence button.
- Select the start date and end date.
- Choose a reason (Holiday, Business, or Other).
- Add any additional notes if required.
- Save the absence.
This will notify the gym that the member will be unavailable during the selected dates.
IMPORTANT: Remember to cancel any bookings you may have scheduled during your period(s) of absence.
Deleting a Schedule Absence
If a member needs to remove an absence:
- Locate the recorded absence.
- Click the red icon next to the absence.
The scheduled absence will then be removed.
