Add a note to a member

Adding a note to a member manually is simple via the Documents Tab of the member record.

To add a note:

  1. Select the Add note option from the Add new… drop-down list on the documents tab of the member record. A new row will appear at the top of the documents list.
  1. Enter your note or comment into the box provided.
  2. Click the icon to commit your note, or to cancel.
  3. Once the note has been added, you may optionally click to make it visible to the member via the GymOS FitnessHub mobile app and Member Portal, and/or to make the record visible to managers only.

Level-up Tip

It is good practice to add notes to members to remind yourself (or guide colleagues) as to why you took a specific action. For example, you may add some ad hoc credits to the member’s account as a goodwill gesture. Recording why you did that is a useful aide-memoire for yourself, and it explains to your team without them thinking a mistake has been made.
