Shift conflicts

Shift conflicts is one of the tabs on the Shift Manager.

An “shift conflict” occurs when the same employee is allocated to more than one shift at the same time. Whilst this might sometimes be intended, typically it is not. A shift conflict will also occur if a team member is allocated a shift whilst they are scheduled to be absent (E.g., on holiday).

Shift conflicts within the next 3 calendar months are displayed on the Shift conflicts tab.

The conflicts are grouped to make problematic shifts easier to see. You may resolve the issue by clicking the View/Edit Shift button, and amending the shift accordingly. This might be changing the shift times, or by allocating it to a diferent team member.
