Recording achievements and personal bests

You may add or edit an achievement or personal best record for a given member within the GymOS administration portal. Achievements form part of the Achievements tab on the member record.

An achievement may also form part of a much richer progress tracking program where members record their achievements during a session against a prescribed set of workout exercises. For documentation on this more comprehensive feature, please take a look at the XRcize Programs documentation.

To add a new achievement or personal best:

  1. Select the activity you wish to record from the drop-down — Select Activity — list.
To set up and configure new activities, please take a look at the Achievements documentation.
  2. Click the Add Personal Best button. This will add a new row to the top of the achievements listing.
  1. The date will be prefilled with the current date, but may be overridden.
  2. Enter the value of the achievement in the achievement column.
  3. Click to save the record, or to abort.

Existing records may be edited by clicking the icon, or deleted by clicking .

If a record represents the member’s personal best for a given activity, this is indicated by the icon alongside the record.

Level-up Tip

You should encourage your members to record their achievements. If appropriate to your gym’s operating model, we recommend the use of the more advanced Weight Tracking functionality.

Your members love to see their progression, and progression is proven to help secure recurring memberships and reduce attrition.
