Konduo Pricing
Konduo is pay-as-you-go. There is no additional monthly fee, and you pay only for the calls your team makes, alongside your other GymOS usage, in the same way as SMS.
Call charges
| United Kingdom | Ireland | |
|---|---|---|
| Calls, per minute | 3p | 9p |
| Per call | 1p | 1p |
- Calls are charged per started minute: a call of 1 to 60 seconds is one minute, and a call of 61 seconds is two.
- Only answered calls are charged. Calls that are not answered, are busy, or cannot be connected cost nothing.
- A call answered by voicemail counts as answered, because the phone network connects it.
- Calls made to your gym’s number and forwarded to your reception are not charged.
Calls to Irish mobiles cost more because the phone networks charge more to connect them. That is what Irish mobile calls cost, and we have passed it on plainly rather than averaging it across our customers.
Recording and transcription
Recording and transcription are charged only when your gym has chosen them, and only for calls that are actually recorded.
| Charge | |
|---|---|
| Recording, per minute | 0.5p |
| Transcript and summary, per minute | 1.5p |
| Transcript and summary, per call | 2p |
- Recording and transcription are also charged per started minute.
- Calls shorter than 30 seconds are not transcribed, and are not charged for transcription.
- If your team switches recording off for a call, it is not charged for recording. If they stop the recording part-way through, only the recorded part is charged.
- There is no charge for storing recordings. Your recordings and transcripts are kept on your members’ and leads’ records for as long as you want them, at no extra cost.

Price comparisons
At the time of writing this article (19/09/2026), for calls outside of any inclusive call package,:
- The approximate cost of a call from one UK mobile to another on EE is 40p per minute (~37p per minute more than Konduo).
- The approximate cost of a call from a BT UK landline to a UK mobile is 31.04p per minute (~28.04p per minute more than Konduo).
Both of these are without recording, transcription or call analysis.
How you are billed
Konduo charges build up as usage during the month, like your SMS usage, and you can see the running total as Call Usage on your dashboard. They are invoiced with your other usage:
- when your call usage reaches your usage threshold, normally £50, or
- on your monthly billing date,
whichever comes first. Konduo usage has its own threshold, separate from your SMS usage.
Your phone number
- United Kingdom: Konduo uses your gym’s existing GymOS number, so there is nothing extra to pay.
- Ireland: we register a local Irish number for your calls. We pay the registration costs for the number itself.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a monthly fee or a minimum spend?
No. If your team makes no calls, Konduo costs nothing.
Are calls ever blocked because of what we have spent?
No. Calls are never stopped because of your usage. Your usage is simply invoiced when it reaches your threshold.
Do keypad calls cost the same?
Yes. Calls cost the same however they are started.
Does the number belong to us?
No. The number technically belongs to Twilio, is managed by GymOS, and sub-assigned to you for the period of your usage and continued subscription with GymOS. The number is released when your GymOS subscription ends.
Why do Irish gyms require two numbers?
Irish regulations differ from the UK. The rules are that we provide one number for text messaging (which may be a UK number), and one number for voice calling (which must be an Irish number in the same proximity as the physical gym).
Why are Irish calls more expensive than the UK?
The same reason as SMS message send costs are. Unfortunately, the base carrier costs in Ireland are much higher than the UK. Our pricing simply passes on the difference, with no additional mark up.
Is there a charge for storing the recordings?
Unlike some other softphone providers, we do not charge a monthly fee for storing the recordings.
Is there a charge for incoming calls?
We presently absorb the cost for incoming calls. At some point this might get passed on, but we will advise in advance of this happening.
